Hi, my name is Destini. This blog is where I keep up with Arashi fandom. I'm a huge Arashi fan, residing in Las Vegas (Nevada) and I try my best to think of ways to promote the North American fan base to Arashi and Johnny's Entertainment.

ArashiAroundAmerica.net is my main way of going about the above stated mission. We think of projects and such to try and gain Arashi's attention. We also have a Fans Database so that we can have visible proof of the existing fan base here in North America.

This post serves as a guide to any visitors who may want to contact Arashi or one of Arashi shows. It also has links to projects, campaigns, and the like that I think are super!

If you'd like me to post a link to your campaign, drop me a comment here and tell me about it! I love hearing about other Arashi fans supporting our boys!

Note: Realize that for a few of these methods, you need to have a general understanding of Japanese. Since the idea of so many overseas fans is a bit new to Japan, not all the sites are foreigner-friendly. (I.E. not having an Overseas option for Place of Residence).

Though - please take advantage of the options you do have where English is okay or where being out of the nation of Japan is okay. To make it easier, I've implemented the following legend:

ENG | This method is English-okay! (Mostly.)
JPN | Need to have a grasp of Japanese.
NI | Need to be living or stationed in Japan for a period of time.
INTL | Can be living anywhere in the world.

Tips
Use basic English. It's none of Arashi's first language. If possible, get your letter translated.
Don't overtly fangirl in the letter. "I LOVE YOU MARRY ME NAO," is probably inappropriate.

If you can type the messages in Japanese or get it translated, I'd implore you to.
Though, about 4/5 members of Arashi are learning or trying to learn to speak English well. So it may just be great practice. :)

You probably need to have a good idea of Japanese food and restaurants and all that jazz.

   2. You have to ballot.

If you thought we were stopping releases of everything else -- well you were dead wrong! (Get it? Dead? 'Cause Nino is a murderer?? ....never mind.) AGE Gumi is back with another small treat for Nino Month!

Here is the Press Conference for Ninomiya's new butai, Strangers on a Train, subbed! Please support our releases by either commenting here or on our team's LiveJournal!

A while ago, for Aiba's butai we did the Aiba Letter Project where we sent letters to Aiba to say "Ganbare!" on his butai. Now the plan is to send Nino birthday letters and card from any American fans that may have the time to do so.

Haruka, the lovely Aiba fan that suggested and mailed all the letters for Aiba Letter Project suggested this to me and so I thought it be great for any Nino fans who may want to send a card or letter to wish him a happy birthday.

The letters will be mailed to Japan on June 15th, so the letter to the below address would need to arrive before that. We realize how sudden this is but if you can take the time to do it, I'm sure it'd be received very happily.

The address to mail your letter(s) to:

It's really sudden again but if you can, try. Plan it like this, if possible.

1) Don't make it TOO long.
2) Focus more on wishing him a happy birthday!
3) A CARD is an option. It may be easier than a letter and it's size will forcibly restrict you from writing a novel. XD
4) Try and get it out 3 or so days before the due date to make sure it arrives~

I'm going to hand make my card and then send that. If you want to be settled about it though, yes cards are acceptable by JE. Just don't put money in it. LOL

By the way, and I know at least one person will be wondering/thinking this but when it comes to sending things like letters and cards, sadly we can't always expect a huge media outburst or proclamation from said idol about receiving cards from us and such.

Send it more for the fact that it's being supportive and you know, it acknowledges your existence as a American fan. Not to HEAR about your doing it, just to do it because you want to.

In the same token! Wonderful things can happen. I'm a witness of that.
