Aiba Letter Project: Green Fingers at Umeda Arts Theater
As a back story, I expressed to my friend (her name's Haruka and she's doing all the dirty work for this project. <3) that I wanted to send flowers to the theaters that Green Fingers would be playing in -- like Arashi's sponsors do -- as a show of "Good Luck from your fans in the US!"
Well, you can't.
What you can do however, is send fan letters! Furthermore, we were told that they'd be delivered to Aiba himself. Fantastic, right? So as a show of support, here's what we've been doing.
As some of you may (or may not have) heard, a small group of members at Aibaka(land) participated in a small project to collect good luck/support letters for Aiba from fans in the United States and send them down to Aoyama Theater in Tokyo in time for the opening day.
Well the even better news is, we're doing it again for the run of the butai in Osaka at Umeda Arts Theater! Furthermore, since the deadline is longer (we only had about a week and three days for Tokyo) it's fully open to the public now!
1. This project is for United States fans.
I don't care who you are, how long you've been here in fandom, or if Aiba is like your 3 1/2 favorite member: You like Arashi? You like Aiba? You support him? You live in the United States of America? Then you can participate!
2. If you wish to participate, e-mail me.
E-mail me at the ArashiAroundAmerica.net main e-mail, noarashinolife(@)gmail(.)com with the e-mail subject, "Aiba Letter Project: Osaka" and I will send you the address your letter needs to be mailed to, as well as other details.
The deadline for this project (this is the date that it needs to be at "Aiba Letter HQ" in North Carolina by) is:
Not finished and almost mailed. Not sent this day. She needs to have it by this day. Anytime before is fine. Also this is the FINAL run so don't miss the chance.
I really want to make some noise in Osaka -- about 18 girls at Aibaka sent messages for his opening day. I'm sure those alone will be surprising. Lets show that the U.S. fans mean business in terms of support.
Questions? Ask here! I'd rather just recieve e-mails requesting the address/further information (if a question is included there, I'll answer of course) but if it's JUST a question, please ask here. I'm anticipating quite a few e-mails so I want to keep it kind of stable.
