Shonichiwa or something. Destini (is sorta) here. Quick post~ I just saw the covers for Limited and Regular editions of One Love.

They are slightly humorous to me at the moment, because I am partly insane from not getting sleep + then drinking a cup of coffee and a caramel frappacino affagato style (2 shots of espresso on top). So...commentary from Destini, woo! *dies*

I'm on the Arashi no Shukudai-kun section of the Arashian sub-team.
Right now actually, I'm subbing for the very first time.
On our first release, I did quality checking.
This time, I get to actually sub some of it though!
It's fun - kinda tough but feasible.
I even figured something new out in Aegisub: text placement~

Anyhow, I'll be working hard on this and I hope it's suitable job. ^.^

Shohayou! Destini here. Just a quick update/refresher on the Card for 嵐 Mini-Project. Currently, submissions for both card signatures and card-front designs is still open! (IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS PROJECT IS, CLICK HERE.)

I've gotten 18 signatures so far (which is great actually since it wasn't posted that long ago) but I'm still hoping to get a lot more so please feel free to send it in! I know there are way more than 18 U.S. Arashi fans. :)

Short Reminders

• Colored pens are okay, but just remember to use white paper. :)
• I actually just need to all to tell me your locations - no need to add it to the signature. ^.^
• Do not resize the scans! I need room to resize + sharpen them so send them in their original state, please.

So, that also means if there are three winners, the prizes may change up a bit. More details on that later. I hope to see more submissions of both signatures and card-fronts soon!

Keeping Our Planet Safe
Lastly, I'd appreciate it greatly if you all were to check out this website named EarthSOS staying "Green," or being eco-friendly and saving energy.

Arashi is doing a theme of staying green, or environmentally friendly. This coupled with their 24 Hour Television appearance this year shows me that they do have a slight concern for the current state of our planet - as do I. Essentially we all inhabit Earth. Every action we make can make or break our eco-system. I think if we all took small steps to living Green, we'd be more than thankful. 

We're all living on the same planet, and there are plenty of ways to make a difference! So, even if you don't agree, just brief it over please! Let's Keep Our Home Safe. :)

This will be a bitchy post. Sorry if you don't agree and my friends were nicer about it but I'm gonna be straightforward. Points I'd like to address.

I will report anything I did not like but I will mainly be focusing on the good parts. People are like ripping the tour apart day one. It's heartbreaking, seriously.

Shohayou gozaimasu! :) Destini here. Well, you all (most of you all?) know I'm going to Japan for both an intensive Japanese course and to see Arashi. Well, we made a name for ourselves as American fans in our territory. I figure, "Why not go there and do the same?"

So the plan for the U.S. fans and Arashi Secret Agency gals - is basically our Mission #2!

You all probably already know that the Aiba family have a restaurant in Chiba. Well, I've heard from many people that Aibamama is a complete sweetheart and loves her son. I think she'd be grateful to know her boy + his group have so many fans outside of Japan.

I realize UK fans are doing a similar project but it's only for UK fans - which is fine but I'm sure it's not an issue if we want to show fanpower as well. We're all fans together so it's not about up showing the other country.

With that said, the plan is to create a very moving but simplistic card and I will add signatures of fans from the U.S. onto it. Then I will visit Keikarou and see if I can give it to someone there. I will also try different methods (if you have any, suggest them) in order to deliver the card. I heard of an instance where a fan took a letter directly to the Johnny's building as well, so if visiting Keikarou doesn't work, that's the next plan.

I cannot mail the card around, so first requirement:

#1: YOU NEED A SCANNER.

I need scanned signatures! They need to look similar to this:

Basically,

1) Your autograph (signature)
2) Your PRINTED first name, last initial.
3) USE WHITE PAPER ONLY. I can't use colored backgrounds.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SCANNER:

1) Use a graphic program, Paint, whatever to write it.
2) Take a REALLY good picture of it.

Otherwise, those are the only options.

Second requirement:

#2: STATE WHERE YOU ARE FROM.

I need to know WHERE YOU LIVE. If you don't want to give the city, I NEED THE STATE. This is,

1) To let them know WHERE the fans are in the U.S. as I'm sure they might find interest in that.
2) For me to make sure people aren't pulling the wool over my eyes.

In addition to #2 there, as much as I'd love to make this an international deal, it's nearly impossible. I have to have this done before July 1st. If I open it to beyond the States, we are probably talking over 500+ signatures and I cannot handle that kind of load. I need to add all of the U.S. fans to a relatively small card. I'm not sure if I can handle all of the world.

So, please do not be discouraged. I am all about Arashi knowing about all their fans, but for this, I had to scale it down for time/general capability restraints. Also, there is an international fan project going on, not to mention a UK project going on with basically the same idea (except they are doing a mini-fanbook) so if you're from the Isles, check that one out.

We/I for that matter am not doing anything in breach of Johnny's Entertainment laws.
No stalking, no forcing. I will try my hardest to deliver the card in the most conventional, un...rude fashion possible. If it can't be delivered, then okay but I'm not going to like go insane attempting to. So if you're worried about that, don't be. I'm an adult. :)

What will the card say/look like?
The card's design still needs to be created (read below regarding this), but as for the message. Our lovely Agent #023 aka NessaToshi thought up a beautiful poem for it. Here it is:

Anyone who can create a gorgeous card-front that,

1) Represents Arashi.
2) Represents the fans.
3) Shows our love.
4) Is pretty.
5) Doesn't have Arashi's image on it at all. (Against policy.)
6) The card-front doesn't need the poem on it! That's for the inside of the card. Just create it however you like.

See, Sho's my ichiban and Ohno's my niban. Really though, Ohno's my second ichiban. Hahaha, it's kinda hard to pick but I still kind of can. These two are hilarious together though. Like in the D no Arashi where they leave stuff alone for a week or the Mago Mago Arashi's where they're paired together are like my favorite ever. *_*

SEE. EVER SINCE YTM, I'VE BEEN AN EVEN BIGGER FAN OF THESE TWO. Though, pre-YamaTaro, I thought they were adorable. Nino picks on Sho a lot, it's really funny actually. Also, Sho bought Nino a Wii. -_- So they must be like..."LOL!LETSGOPLAYWII~" Well, i'd pay to see that.

I just got used to these two after watching AnS and laughing at how clingy Jun is. It's really cute actually. I think they have a special mean of communicating!!! Like sign language! If I decipher it, I'll inform you all.

YAY! I think it's unheard of to not at least sort of like Ohmiya...............................look how happy! ;_;

Ok, but one complaint.

APA: Your Arashi colleague Kazunari Ninomiya[1] has worked with Clint Eastwood on Letters from Iwo Jima. Are you interested in working in Hollywood as well?

JM: If I can. [laughter] I'm really honored to be here today and have the opportunity to see how people react to the film. There's nothing decided right now, but it'd be great to have more chances like today where the film can be screened for new audiences like here in America.

APA: Arashi is approaching their 10th Anniversary as a group - do you guys have big plans? Will Arashi be doing any international concerts anytime soon -- like say, America?

JM: Well, I haven't had much time to think about a 10th anniversary as 10 years have passed really quickly for us, but I know that's because of the fans and staff around us who've supported us. I don't know how we five will celebrate the occasion, but I want to express our gratitude to as many people as possible.
Regarding acting, like I said before, I'd like to continue to do movies that interest me and talk to more interesting people above all else. For that, I know I'll have to try to improve my abilities – whether that be singing, dancing, acting, speaking – I know I have to continuously try to improve myself. I'm doing so many things right now I tell you, I don't have much time.

APA: You've recently shot two movies back to back, and have been busy with new television shows, including the continuing Arashi no Shukudai-kun, and an upcoming dome concert with your other members of Arashi. When do you find time to rest?

JM: I was talking to some people from a Japanese TV station here in Hollywood, and I was really surprised. In Hollywood, you make movies that you assume will be shown around the world. I don't have much experience with that feeling. I had assumed I was making Japanese entertainment in Japan for Japanese people, but with the Internet, it's now being seen everywhere, much like movies. The fact that we can see Japanese variety shows here in the U.S. made me realize just how large the world had become. When I receive email or letters from people here in America, like this last time when I was in Las Vegas and got a letter saying, "When are you guys gonna have an American concert?," it made me realize that there is an audience for us here too, and makes me hope that one day we can hold a concert here in America or appear in international films. If Hidden Fortress can screen here in the future, I hope many people can see it.

LMAO, WELL. I entered a Japanese Speech contest.
My topic?

The video sound is low so maybe full blast + earphones? XD And so I did it and used my uchiwa + a picture of him as visual aid and I guess it was rather humorous. Won 2nd! This is such a great build of confidence. I feel like I'll be okay when I go overseas this summer.

Also, I found out that my classes can excuse me for missing my first month, so I might stay for three months if my mom's okay with it. Wish me luck! ^.^ <3
