Destini here. :)
This post serves as a guide to any visitors who may want to contact Arashi or one of Arashi shows. It also has links to projects, campaigns, and the like that I think are epic!
If you'd like me to post a link to your campaign, drop me a comment here and tell me about it! I love hearing about other Arashi fans supporting our boys!
Note: Realize that for a few of these methods, you need to have a general understanding of Japanese. Since the idea of so many overseas fans is a bit new to Japan, not all the sites are foreigner-friendly. (I.E. not having an Overseas option for Place of Residence).
Though - please take advantage of the options you do have where English is okay or where being out of the nation of Japan is okay. To make it easier, I've implemented the following legend:
ENG | This method is English-okay! (Mostly.)
JPN | Need to have a grasp of Japanese.
NI | Need to be living or stationed in Japan for a period of time.
INTL | Can be living anywhere in the world.

ARASHI - ARASHI MEMBER'S NAME

Tips
Use basic English. It's none of Arashi's first language. If possible, get your letter translated.
Don't overtly fangirl in the letter. "I LOVE YOU MARRY ME NAO," is probably inappropriate.
E-MAIL ARASHI RAJIO SHOWS (ENG | JPN | INTL)
Arashi's radio show all have e-mails that listeners can send messages and comments to. Why not give it a shot! You never know who's they might read on air~

Though, about 4/5 members of Arashi are learning or trying to learn to speak English well. So it may just be great practice. :)
ARASHI NO SHUKUDAI-KUN (JPN | NI)
Arashi no Shukudai-kun's submission form has specific radio buttons for you to click. Here are the translations for each button.
ゲストからの宿題 (Homework from the Guest)
Oishii Ryouri | Delicious Foods
This is the section of the show where the guest ask for delicious food! If you have something to submit here, then try it out.
You probably need to have a good idea of Japanese food and restaurants and all that jazz.
イメージ宿題 (Image Homework)
"Kinou no yoru, nani shiteta?" | What did you do last night?
If you have a "guest imeji' or an image of what you think the guest did last night, send it in!
番組からの宿題 (Homework from the Program)
Shiodome Aibaland | Send in fun games for the guest and Arashi to play together!
This is the current Program Homework. We've all seen Ai-land so if you have a fun game, send that in! It'd be great to see an overseas' fan's game on the show, na?
ARASHI NO SHUKUDAI-KUN BBS (JPN)
The official Arashi no Shukudai-kun website has a BBS board that anyone can post to. It's for posting your opinions about each week's episode.
Ozarashi was kind enough to translate the BBS page and form for fellow fans! Please visit her Vox here for the translation!
ARASHI NO SHUKUDAI-KUN AUDIENCE MEMBER (JPN | NI)
Since there was interest expressed in this, here is the forum link I was looking for that explains the process. From the sounds of it -
1. You have to send in your request to a Japanese address from Japan.
2. You have to ballot.
3. You have to be a FC member.

ARASHI CONCERT IN THE US PETITION (ENG)
This is a steadily growing petition to get Arashi to perform in the United States. Big fan or small, please sign it to show your support and to show that they do have fans all over, supporting them.
This website was created for interbational fans to congratulate Arashi on their 10th Anniversary! Please visit to see the many ways you can do so! :)
I apologize for the delayed post but I had to come home and recharge. The fan gathering was a lot of fun!
I'm pretty sure at one point we had at least 40 attendees. It was very exciting and we had a lot of laughs and such! There was a lot of joy from being reunited with friends that met during other occasions, as well as a lot of new friendships being made.
A more detailed report on my half will be posted soon~ I don't think it says anything that wasn't mentioned by others! ^o^ I'd say this was a decent event. Can be better, however!
In fact, another event is already in the works to that hopefully we can have more people come out. More details after I confirm a few things, but this even will be bigger and better AND posted early enough so that we can spread beyond the western tri-state area!
For Those Who Attended: If you took any photographs or videos that you are okay with being posted, please e-mail them to arashifanmeet@gmail.com!
I want to build up the Fan Section on ArashiAroundAmerica.net so that others can see the fan base & not think we are all talk. It's great to show that we are supportive both on and offline! Any media is greatly appreciated!
Also, please PLEASE double please send any suggestions for the next fan gathering! Keep in mind that this was my & my friends first event of this caliber and therefore comments and suggestions will only help us build a more satisfying event for attendees. We want everyone to come out and have fun and so we want to hear your voices!
Thanks So Much Once Again To Everyone Who Attended! I couldn't have asked for a cooler group of fans to show up! <3 Love You All! ^o^
I love D no Arashi! It's my favorite Arashi show. I think because they went on the most locations, they were the most silly and random, and it was literally a hairstyle evolution for like every member.
I'm going to have another D no Arashi marathon
today! So here are my favorite random quotes. I may add more.
What quotes do you all like from D no Arashi?
D no Arashi #06
Ohno: Wanna go tonight? To the Bearded Girl.
Sho: What?
D no Arashi #44
Aiba: Think about it, guys. I mean have we done anything for Sho Sakurai?
Jun: For graduating from college?
Aiba: Yeah.
Nino: I sent him a mail.
Aiba: I sent him an email too, but...
Sho: What?! Wait a minute...!
Aiba: Oh, I didn't?
Nino: Don't lie about that!
D no Arashi #48
Sho: Flying squirrel has 9 points. If we wanted to keep up with "mole" like themes, right?
Ohno: I want to catch one in the air with one of those bug catching nets!
Aiba: Are flying squirrels that big in the first place?!
Ohno: Aren't they like this big?
Makes gestures of the size of a medium sized flying thing.
Jun: I think they're about this big.
Also gestures its size.
Sho: Really?!
Aiba: What, I thought they were about this size...No there's this place close to my house...
Nino: There it is again!
Sho: Just like with the moles!
Nino: No way you've seen one! You don't come from a Wonderland like that!
D no Arashi #48
Aiba: Would the light brown part move to the bottom?
Sho: How old are you?
Aiba: 21.
Sho: You don't need to know yet.
Aiba: Are bean sprouts THAT adult-rated??
D no Arashi #52
Ohno: This fish WAS REALLY CAUGHT HERE!
Nino: WHAT DID YOU SAY?!
D no Arashi #73
Ohno: Just dont start with banana!
Nino: What do you want me to start with, then?
Ohno: Decide that yourself.
Nino: That's what I did!
D no Arashi #92
Aiba: CONCLUSION! This is the happiest I've been in my life!
Sho: Iwasaki Kyoko!
Aiba: YAAAAAAY!
D no Arashi #95
Jun: A man trying on bras. With this...a man can buy them, but not try them on.
Ohno: But it's spring, you know.
Jun: Huh??
Ohno: It's the time to start over with a new self...I'm sure there are some guys who want to start over by trying bras...
D no Arashi #96
Jun: Leader~
Ohno: What is it?? You guys are cute.
Laughter.
D no Arashi #108
Nino: Tish peper!
Jun: Tish peper?
Nino: Yeah.
D no Arashi #99
Cosplay Waitress: ARE YOU ALRIGHT SIR?!
Sho: Uhh, I'll turn that question right back around to you...
D no Arashi #101
Nino: So now it's 9 to 9.
Aiba: It's turning into a good race.
Sho: The match is getting exciting.
Nino: Yeah. But the thing you have to wonder about is the prize you get
at 10. What do you guys what? You should probably say it ahead of time.
Sho: I think Ohno should get that one thing...You know...the Hokkaido thing.
Ohno: Oh, land?
Laughter.
Aiba: Land, huh?!
Jun: Land??
Ohno: No, it's really cheap.
Nino: You know, he said he wants to open a bread shop. You wanted a bread shop, right?
Ohno: 3.3 square meters is only a few hundred thousand yen.
Nino: You've looked into it that much?!
Ohno: I'll take that, then!
Jun: You can't even make bread, can you?!
Laughter.
Nino: That's the problem! He wants a bread shop, but he can't even make bread. He doesn't even know how to make it...

So, it's the final week! This Saturday is the day of days! The day where fellow fans can flail and shout and...flail amongst each other! The day where you can buy Myojo and point and say, "AH MAH GAH I LOVE THAT PICTURE." Erm.
SO. Final head count thus far: 26! I'd implore those visiting that even if there is a small inkling that you may attend, please register!
This Wednesday, badges are being printed. I will only be printing badges once. With that stated, at least if you register and can make it, a badge will be printed for you. If you wait until Thursday or so to register, you'll be without a badge.
Interested in our ichiban turnout so far?
Team Aiba - 5

嵐のニューシングル「Believe」は、櫻井翔主演の映画「ヤッターマン」の主題歌として来年リリースされる予定。

New Arashi single entitled "Believe" will be the theme song to Yatterman starring Sho Sakurai and it's slated for release next year.
New Single! For Yatterman, at that!
So, I guess it'll be a la "One Love" for Hana Yori Dango: Final. Congrats boys! Hopefully this single will have selling power like their single releases this year!
From Oricon Style & Mixi. I cannot translate this all - I am just posting it. If someone has the ability to translate, I hope they will.

Hey, guys! So, I've decided that my Vox has gotten really serious business as of late. Which isn't a bad thing, per say because...well you all know my intentions ASIDE from being a supportive Arashi fan. SO you've got to be serious to a degree, right?
However! I want to just fangirl with you all too! You know, about how funny Arashi no Shukudai-kun was or how excited I am about Satoshi's new drama and the like. If I don't have fun too, it will seem like i'm a battle robot.
So! Along with my efforts with "Arashi Globalization" I will post more fun stuff. I haven't even made graphics as of late! Isn't that the pits? I love graphic design. All my pent up graphic design came out in my new layout, though! Thank you all for your kind comments on it, by the way! Let's start with that first in my flail hour!
I need names for my flail hour. Hah.
ARASHI NO SHUKUDAI-KUN
Yuna Ito! She's precious! She's from Hawaii!
Doesn't that make you think, "Hmm, guests from Hawaii, debut footage so close to the new year. Concert in 2009..."
I loved this episode!
Killer Moments
Sho's, "I don't know~"
Aiba's, "Just a moment, please!"
Aiba's "Uwehe!"
Jun's, "I never stopped being the Comedy Leader...did I?"
- Mabo Pineapple or whatever actually looked good! Aiba's presentation of it in a hollowed pineapple was just kind of shocking.
- Aiba is a destroyer of worlds and basketball hoops! He's so tall, geez.
- That slipper game drove me crazy! It get's a huge NASHI on my scorecard.
YATTERMAN
...GUYS. Okay, first let's talk about how I was like ASNASDHFJYOKTFDBFXCVBN when the Zoom In repo came out! Iyaa, he looked epic in his Gan-chan outfit!
Though, I'm proud of him for something! Did you see how he didn't look like he'd die on those wire scenes! I mean REALLY. He's something else.
Destini Fact: I am TERRIFIED of heights. To the point where if I see someone else high up, I'll feel light-headed! It's pretty bad.
How much do you all know about Yatterman?
It's truly a great anime! I told my friend yesterday how it was like, karma that Sho was chosen to be in it.
I love Yatterman! Prior to Sho. With that, when I heard a remake was being made, I was like, "This is going to SUCK! They'll ruin it!!!"
Then it was announced, "Sakurai Sho will be playing Gan-chan!" to my disbelief. I just kinda went, "....oh no you didn't."
I didn't become less objective but I did kind of become like, "Augh, now I can't nearly be as mean! It's Sho!"
Everyone knows Yatterman is done being filmed though, which is funny because I don't see WHEN Sho could've filmed! Hasn't 2008 been jam packed - not just for ARASHI but for Sho himself.
Uwa, it makes you think Johnny's isn't a Jimusho but the name of an android company.
I want a Sho 4.0 Model in, "Mago Mago Cooking Uniform" style. Or maybe..."Hadaka." I didn't say it. O_o
UTA NO ONIISAN
So I got informed via text about this! I kinda went,
"HE ONLY TOOK A BREAK FOR A SEASON!"
You all have already kind of gone, "The switch is amazing! Devil Lawyer to Singing Older Brother."
My favorite thing about this is how the character is so much like Satoshi. Well, he didn't think he'd be a Johnny right? He became one though and I don't think it's saying much when I say he's amazing at it. You never know where fate will lead you!
More or less, I'm excited at how much of his emotions will come through here. I remember for Maou, one of the most...dare I say, impacting CM's they showed for it while I was in Japan was a 30-second CM of Naruse crying.
Just him crying!
No dialogue!
It was so crazy. I was following it like crazy but I thought - had I not been watching Maou, I'd watch that episode without fail. I'm not sure how much of him came out in that scene but nevertheless it struck me as being powerful.
I trust Satoshi will bring it for this drama too!
Will A New Arashi Single Come From This?!
What do you all think? How crazy would it be if the first single of the year was like...Japanese Blue's Clues style!
You'd buy it right?! 5 copies of the LE, huh? XD I would...not 5. You get me. XD

A permanent web page has been unearthed to make linking information about it easier.
It also has new
information, such as where we'll be meeting up that day!
Check It
Out, whether you've registered or not!
Please be sure to let
others know about this as well! It'd be great to have a lot of us all
making new friends!
Remember how I said that after the e-mail campaign, I'd like to continue helping with attempts to get on the Arashi fan radar and what not? I also mentioned in this post that our promoting Arashi to others is, in my opinion really vital if we wish to grow as a fan base.
Also, remember the Arashi Secret Agency? We were the group of 30-something girls who went to Los Angeles to support Jun in the Hidden Fortress premiere.
Well, a website and community and what not was slated to created. However (and I assume it was because of time-constraints and real life so no hard feelings) it went nowhere to be frank. So here is the comeback, so to speak? Just on a larger scale essentially.
http://ArashiAroundAmerica.net/
Our first goal is to serve as hub of representation of North American fans, such as the various Arashi Around Europe/Latin America/e.t.c. type websites does for their respective countries. There are not many, if any sites who has a purpose such as this – and that is to exist as a symbol showing that Arashi does have many supportive fans in North America.
We also have the goal of further promoting Arashi as a group to others. While being supportive as we currently stand is impressive, growing the fan base is essential in gaining recognition on a grander scale.
We also wish to serve as a localized “bulletin board” for both fan projects and fan gatherings being run by fans. This way, if a fan does not have a blog to cross-post the details of such in, this website can be an alternative. It can also just serve as an additional place to advertise your ideas and events.
We also look to help further promote our existence to Arashi. By that we mean to get recognized as North American fans by Arashi and remove the notion that there are only, “a few hundred fans” residing here.
These points create the heart of this website and are its main focuses. We do not seek to become a source of media, as there are tons of websites with that as its purpose. We look to provide fans with ways to show Arashi their support as North American fans.
With that! I also will be posting the results and what not for the e-mail campaign directly to the new site. So hopefully you all wont mind? By "coming in 2009," I mean January of 2009 so no worries there.
While it's being built: If you...
Own a website/forum/etc and would like to be linked or affiliated.
Have a fan project you'd like promoted.
Have a fan gathering (from February 2009-) you'd like promoted.
You can e-mail me the details of such to shomygosh(@)yahoo(.)co(.)jp. Also if you have any questions about the site in general or any questions at all, feel free to contact me.
