Destini here. :)
This post serves as a guide to any visitors who may want to contact Arashi or one of Arashi shows. It also has links to projects, campaigns, and the like that I think are epic!
If you'd like me to post a link to your campaign, drop me a comment here and tell me about it! I love hearing about other Arashi fans supporting our boys!
Note: Realize that for a few of these methods, you need to have a general understanding of Japanese. Since the idea of so many overseas fans is a bit new to Japan, not all the sites are foreigner-friendly. (I.E. not having an Overseas option for Place of Residence).
Though - please take advantage of the options you do have where English is okay or where being out of the nation of Japan is okay. To make it easier, I've implemented the following legend:
ENG | This method is English-okay! (Mostly.)
JPN | Need to have a grasp of Japanese.
NI | Need to be living or stationed in Japan for a period of time.
INTL | Can be living anywhere in the world.

SNAIL MAIL ARASHI (ENG | INTL)
Want to write a fan letter to Arashi? Here is the address below!
ARASHI - ARASHI MEMBER'S NAME
Johnny's Family Club
Miyamasu Tower B1F
1-10-10 Shibuya
Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-8550
I.E.
ARASHI - SAKURAI SHO
Johnny's Family Club
Miyamasu Tower B1F

Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-8550
Tips
Use basic English. It's none of Arashi's first language. If possible, get your letter translated.
Don't overtly fangirl in the letter. "I LOVE YOU MARRY ME NAO," is probably inappropriate.
E-MAIL ARASHI RAJIO SHOWS (ENG | JPN | INTL)
Arashi's radio show all have e-mails that listeners can send messages and comments to. Why not give it a shot! You never know who's they might read on air~

MATSUMOTO JUN | JUNSTYLE
arashi@nack5.co.jp
AIBA MASAKI | AIBA REKOMEN

NINOMIYA KAZUNARI | BAYSTORM

Tips

Though, about 4/5 members of Arashi are learning or trying to learn to speak English well. So it may just be great practice. :)
ARASHI NO SHUKUDAI-KUN (JPN | NI)
Arashi no Shukudai-kun's submission form has specific radio buttons for you to click. Here are the translations for each button.
ゲストからの宿題 (Homework from the Guest)
Oishii Ryouri | Delicious Foods
This is the section of the show where the guest ask for delicious food! If you have something to submit here, then try it out.
You probably need to have a good idea of Japanese food and restaurants and all that jazz.
イメージ宿題 (Image Homework)
"Kinou no yoru, nani shiteta?" | What did you do last night?
If you have a "guest imeji' or an image of what you think the guest did last night, send it in!
番組からの宿題 (Homework from the Program)
Shiodome Aibaland | Send in fun games for the guest and Arashi to play together!
This is the current Program Homework. We've all seen Ai-land so if you have a fun game, send that in! It'd be great to see an overseas' fan's game on the show, na?
ARASHI NO SHUKUDAI-KUN BBS (JPN)
The official Arashi no Shukudai-kun website has a BBS board that anyone can post to. It's for posting your opinions about each week's episode.
Ozarashi was kind enough to translate the BBS page and form for fellow fans! Please visit her Vox here for the translation!
ARASHI NO SHUKUDAI-KUN AUDIENCE MEMBER (JPN | NI)
Since there was interest expressed in this, here is the forum link I was looking for that explains the process. From the sounds of it -
1. You have to send in your request to a Japanese address from Japan.
2. You have to ballot.
3. You have to be a FC member.
ARASHI AROUND AMERICA.NET (ENG)
This website looks to serve as a hub of North American representation of Arashi fans.

This weekly video presentation of the latest Arashi news has been one of my favorite fan-created projects I've seen thus far! Everyone check it out! Lets support fellow international fans throughout the globe~
ARASHI CONCERT IN THE US PETITION (ENG)
This is a steadily growing petition to get Arashi to perform in the United States. Big fan or small, please sign it to show your support and to show that they do have fans all over, supporting them.
This website was created for interbational fans to congratulate Arashi on their 10th Anniversary! Please visit to see the many ways you can do so! :)
I apologize for the delayed post but I had to come home and recharge. The fan gathering was a lot of fun!
I'm pretty sure at one point we had at least 40 attendees. It was very exciting and we had a lot of laughs and such! There was a lot of joy from being reunited with friends that met during other occasions, as well as a lot of new friendships being made.
A more detailed report on my half will be posted soon~ I don't think it says anything that wasn't mentioned by others! ^o^ I'd say this was a decent event. Can be better, however!
In fact, another event is already in the works to that hopefully we can have more people come out. More details after I confirm a few things, but this even will be bigger and better AND posted early enough so that we can spread beyond the western tri-state area!
For Those Who Attended: If you took any photographs or videos that you are okay with being posted, please e-mail them to arashifanmeet@gmail.com!
I want to build up the Fan Section on ArashiAroundAmerica.net so that others can see the fan base & not think we are all talk. It's great to show that we are supportive both on and offline! Any media is greatly appreciated!
Also, please PLEASE double please send any suggestions for the next fan gathering! Keep in mind that this was my & my friends first event of this caliber and therefore comments and suggestions will only help us build a more satisfying event for attendees. We want everyone to come out and have fun and so we want to hear your voices!
Thanks So Much Once Again To Everyone Who Attended! I couldn't have asked for a cooler group of fans to show up! <3 Love You All! ^o^

So, it's the final week! This Saturday is the day of days! The day where fellow fans can flail and shout and...flail amongst each other! The day where you can buy Myojo and point and say, "AH MAH GAH I LOVE THAT PICTURE." Erm.
SO. Final head count thus far: 26! I'd implore those visiting that even if there is a small inkling that you may attend, please register!
This Wednesday, badges are being printed. I will only be printing badges once. With that stated, at least if you register and can make it, a badge will be printed for you. If you wait until Thursday or so to register, you'll be without a badge.

A permanent web page has been unearthed to make linking information about it easier.
It also has new
information, such as where we'll be meeting up that day!
Check It
Out, whether you've registered or not!
Please be sure to let
others know about this as well! It'd be great to have a lot of us all
making new friends!
Remember how I said that after the e-mail campaign, I'd like to continue helping with attempts to get on the Arashi fan radar and what not? I also mentioned in this post that our promoting Arashi to others is, in my opinion really vital if we wish to grow as a fan base.
Also, remember the Arashi Secret Agency? We were the group of 30-something girls who went to Los Angeles to support Jun in the Hidden Fortress premiere.
Well, a website and community and what not was slated to created. However (and I assume it was because of time-constraints and real life so no hard feelings) it went nowhere to be frank. So here is the comeback, so to speak? Just on a larger scale essentially.
http://ArashiAroundAmerica.net/
Our first goal is to serve as hub of representation of North American fans, such as the various Arashi Around Europe/Latin America/e.t.c. type websites does for their respective countries. There are not many, if any sites who has a purpose such as this – and that is to exist as a symbol showing that Arashi does have many supportive fans in North America.
We also have the goal of further promoting Arashi as a group to others. While being supportive as we currently stand is impressive, growing the fan base is essential in gaining recognition on a grander scale.
We also wish to serve as a localized “bulletin board” for both fan projects and fan gatherings being run by fans. This way, if a fan does not have a blog to cross-post the details of such in, this website can be an alternative. It can also just serve as an additional place to advertise your ideas and events.
We also look to help further promote our existence to Arashi. By that we mean to get recognized as North American fans by Arashi and remove the notion that there are only, “a few hundred fans” residing here.
These points create the heart of this website and are its main focuses. We do not seek to become a source of media, as there are tons of websites with that as its purpose. We look to provide fans with ways to show Arashi their support as North American fans.
With that! I also will be posting the results and what not for the e-mail campaign directly to the new site. So hopefully you all wont mind? By "coming in 2009," I mean January of 2009 so no worries there.
While it's being built: If you...
Own a website/forum/etc and would like to be linked or affiliated.
Have a fan project you'd like promoted.
Have a fan gathering (from February 2009-) you'd like promoted.
You can e-mail me the details of such to shomygosh(@)yahoo(.)co(.)jp. Also if you have any questions about the site in general or any questions at all, feel free to contact me.
There will be a ton to look forward too, such as...
Hanging out with fellow fans
Playing all kinds of Arashi-related games
Shopping
Eating Japanese food, "Shukudai-kun" style
and...the Aiba Birthday Bash!
For those who'd like to find out more about this exciting event, please refer to the guide that has been organized to further explain everything! It also includes a Schedule Of Events and a detailed Frequently Asked Questions section!
We look forward to seeing anyone who can attend there! All fans of all backgrounds and ages are welcome! Please do not hesitate to contact us at arashifanmeet@gmail.com with any questions you may have!
Just informing you all that I changed my name here. I don't know any other Destini's in fandom anyhow but I'm going through a legal name change soon so I'm changing it on my accounts 'cause....I want to? Haha.
Feel free to still just call me Destini though. No, really. Just call me Destini. :)
To add: Thank you all who commented on my Sho Anniversary Post! Some of the comments were so amazing and well-thought! It really made me emotional. I was glad to see that my somewhat radical feelings in regards to both Arashi and Sho were not chastised or judged. I'm glad to see we have such open minds in this fandom. <3
I'm catching up to replies now and so I apologize it took so long. Busy week. Why is school so hard?!
Also...fan meet date is 95% chosen. I need to call Oiwake and ask what kind of establishment they "turn into" after dark to prevent any run ins with chaos if it's mostly drunken adults. We don't need that in a Arashi fan meet. Arashi is fake drunk enough. ^.^
Hey folks!
Thanks for the people who have filled out the interest survey so far!
I'm really both surprised and appreciative of all the feedback!
This survey expires on September 29th, so if you haven't had a chance to fill it out and would like to, it'd be appreciated.
At this point, if you don't think you'll make it doesn't entirely matter -- I just want opinions for all types of fans to see what would make any sort of fan meet the most fun it can possibly be.
So regardless if you can attend, I'd appreciate your input. Thanks everyone!
To note: After it expires, I'll make a post with all the demographics and observations/plans from the data collected here. Then hopefully from that we can begin planning set-in-stone events. :)
